Labro – including its suppliers – strives to source for the best materials, the most beautiful handmade products and aim for an eco- and human friendly production process. We start working on your items after you placed the order, this can take up to 6 working days. With this policy we are able to work without a mass production and be able to create a collection which supports both small entrepreneurs and treasure seekers who love having limited items.
Our main goal is your satisfaction with our products and with this reason we aim to offer you the best products for the sharpest prices. With those margins we could not offer free shipping on all orders but need to keep the shipping costs on you. We could have priced our products higher and offer you free shipping (as many other companies do) but we prefer to be a transparent company with products that are totally worth their prices.
Since we have a lot of different sizes in our products, there are some different price categories in the shipping costs. Some packages might fit through your mailbox so you don’t have to stay at home but other ones might require a signature (this will be informed to you by email). As soon as your order is packed and ready you will receive an automatic email with tracking information, from that moment on you can follow the package to your doormat. If you are not at home when the courier delivers the – signature needed – parcel, they will leave a note explaining where and how to collect your Atelier Labro order. Please note that we are unable to change a delivery address once the order has been processed. In case you did not collect your order and the forwarder sent it back to us, we are unable to re-send it to you (or you need to pay for the shipping costs again).
To extend our vision of sustainability after ‘making the sell’, we started working with ‘The Better Packaging Company’ who provides us compostable packaging and ‘Fietskoeriers’ who delivers 80% of our orders which helps to reduce traffic and limit CO2 emissions. We hope to ship all our orders in a green way soon, when international opportunities of bicycle couriers grow. We believe that every step from beginning to end is necessary to provide a transparent and sustainable policy.

As mentioned earlier our main goal is to satisfy you with our products, yet there might be a change that you would like to return your product for any reason. The procedure for returning an item purchased at our store is as following:
01. Send an email with a ‘request for return’ to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please make sure this is within 14 days after you’ve received the product, otherwise we could not accept the return. We would appreciate if you could let us know, in the email, what the reason is for your ‘request of return’.
02. The items should be packed (a) in original condition, together with any and all accessoires/gifts included in the original package, and may not be used, clean or damaged in any way. (b) with all original labels and packaging.
03. Contact and authorized courier service or local post office (preferably PostNL in the Netherlands or DHL international) and send the parcel to this address:
Return shipping costs and condition (as damaging, getting lost, etc.) during the return shipment are the customer’s responsibility and will be until we receive the package. As soon as we have received your package and the product is approved according above points, we will refund your money within 5 working days.
